Am I eligible for the scholarship?

The scholarship is open to 9th-12th grade high school, college, or graduate students including home-schooled students and adult learners. You may be studying abroad, but you must be a resident of the U.S.

What is the deadline?

There are two deadlines annually: July 31 and December 31.

How do I apply?

Only online applications will be accepted.

Did you receive my application?

After you submit your application, you will receive a confirmation on the website that it has been received. You will also receive a confirmation email. If for some reason, you didn’t receive the confirmation on the website or the email, feel free to resubmit your application. Please check your spam mailbox for an email from the sender ending in “gkscholarship.com.”

May I submit more than one application?

If you feel that you made a mistake or would like to change your application, feel free to submit another application. We will use the most recent application submitted. You may also apply for the scholarship again if you aren’t selected as a winner.

Is need considered?

No, it is not.

What can I use the scholarship for?

You may use the award for undergraduate or graduate school tuition, room and board, required fees, or any educational expense.

How will you notify the winners?

Winners will be notified approximately 6-8 weeks after the deadline by email. If you don’t respond, we will also contact you by US mail.
